In 2016, my health took a nose-dive. I knew that if I didn’t make changes, I would eventually end up in the hospital with a negative prognosis. It was only a matter of time.
Instead of waiting for that day, I took ownership over my health. I stopped eating junk, stopped drinking coffee, stopped taking over the counter medicines, I weaned off all prescriptions, and I removed products that had WAY too many ingredients in them.
I started to add in more good foods, foods that had healing properties (my mom’s chicken soup saved my life!), I started to add in clean products for everyday use, I started to deal with my stress, and slowly, I started to get better.
